Glavier Aldana
Glavier is a classical harpist currently studying a Master of Music (Performance Teaching) at the University of Melbourne, where she is a recipient of the EC Wellisch Bequest, Mabel Kent Scholarship and Cassidy Bequest Scholarship for excellence. Currently, Glavier teaches harp at Toorak College and on her studio, as well as regularly gives solo performances for weddings and events.
She began her musical training in 2009 at the renowned Simon Bolivar Conservatory (El Sistema) in Venezuela. She was the first harpist to join the Los Altos Mirandinos Youth Orchestra in Venezuela from 2014 to 2016, receiving guidance from acclaimed harpists, Isabel Moretti, Zoraida Avila and Judy Loman.
Glavier has completed a Bachelor of Music (Performance) from The University of Melbourne and Advanced Diploma of Music at Melbourne Polytechnic.

From 2018 to 2020, Glavier was the principal harpist for the Melbourne Youth Orchestra under Brett Kelly and Fabian Russel. Glavier has performed with the Australian Conservatoire Ballet, Victoria Chorale, Australian Contemporary Opera Company, Forest Collective, Melbourne Opera, Australasian Orchestra, Preston Symphony Orchestra, Stonnington Symphony, Art of Sound Orchestra and the Melbourne Wind Symphony.
Glavier’s experience extends to the international stage, she has performed in 2016 and 2014 at Cátedra Salvi de Arpa at the National University of Colombia, in Bogotá participating in masterclasses with the esteemed Sivan Magen and Emmanuel Ceysson. In 2014, Glavier attended the 12th World Harp Congress in Sydney, Australia and the Young Artist Harp Seminar in Atlanta, the USA, in 2016. Glavier is also a finalist in the Concerto Aria Competition 2022.
